Edenhall is a pleasant rural village, lying in the heart of the peaceful Eden countryside, formed within a loop of the River Eden.

The village is approached by quiet country lanes and being only 3 miles from the market town of Penrith, is ideally located. Penrith has an excellent range of local amenities, sports facilities and shops.

Edenhall grew largely as an estate village serving the Eden Hall Estate and, as a consequence, has remained largely unchanged since the 19th century. The quaint little village has a well-known fishermen’s hotel and the ancient church of St Cuthbert is beautifully set in open countryside a little way away.
